Internship:

In the INTER Workshop for Children’s Education (120 m²):

- Discussions on social news.
- Research on the offer of leisure and job opportunities.
- Proposals for alternative leisure.
- Planning of activities for inclusive leisure (functional disability) and as an integrating element.
- Design and implementation of group dynamics: conflict resolution, knowledge and trust, emotional education, etc.
- Development of programs and projects of leisure and free time: workshops, camps, routes, games, traditional, etc.
- Planning activities in nature (includes school trip, for example, to the old course of the Turia river).
- Start-up of animation activities such as musical, theatrical or lipdub choreography, etc.
Non-labor professional interships in companies (MP0270).

Why do this Free time Instructor Course?

If you like to work with children and young people in outdoor activities, this is your Certificate of Professionalism. You will learn how to organise a camp, a cultural visit, an activity in nature, a trip to the mountains or to the places of interest in your city.

You can also program and carry out activities of sociocultural animation in educational centres and playrooms. In our current society, leisure time is a resource that should be well spent by children and young people.

Yes, but … what is an Official Certificate of Professionalism?

It is the instrument that accredits the set of professional skills that enable the development of a work activity. It has official status and validity throughout the national territory and it is released by the SEPE and the competent bodies of the Autonomous Communities. It is the Certificate of Professionalism “Free Educational Activities Instructor for Children and Youth (SSCB0209)”.

Said in a simple and clear way: this is the Official Course that you will be asked to work.

What are the characteristics?

You will learn how the use of free time has changed throughout history, what needs have arisen and how we can satisfy them. We will elaborate real projects, free time activities that allow us to learn the importance of organising all the resources (human, material …), how to carry them out and how the final evaluation of them is made.

Education in Free Time is the ideal resource that allows us to include all people, regardless of their physical, mental or cultural needs, adapting the activities to each group. Due to this, we will learn techniques and dynamics of groups, resources of animation, expression and creativity. Environmental education will also be one of the knowledge we will acquire. To complete this certificate, non-labour internships will be carried out in companies dedicated to sociocultural animation and child care.

Our students will receive the theoretical manuals of the course as well as the didactic materials that are needed for the development of the several activities. Instituto INTER has its own Practice Workshop of 120 m2 with the resources and materials for the realisation of this Certificate.

What are the entry requirements?

You must be in possession of the Secondary Education Certificate, Intermediate VET Entrance test, or have passed the Key CompetencesTest, a small test that we also prepare in our centre.

This course is also focused on professionals who want to expand their training in this field, to nature and environmental enthusiasts who want to link their professional life and dynamic people who want to work with children and young people.

If you finish the Certificate and want to continue expanding your knowledge and you want to study Advanced VET of Children’s Education, you have validated subjects.
