At the end of the course, you will be able to install a cold room, as well as locate any breakdown and repair it. Another function that you can develop is the maintenance of the cameras (in many cases, it is the main task of these professionals).
Moreover, you will know everything related to risk prevention and environmental management, so important today in this kind of facilities.
What are the characteristics?
This is a practical and on-site theoretical course of 540 hours (from 7 to 8 months), in which you will obtain the needed knowledge to be able to do the work carried out by a refrigeration technician.
Instituto INTER has its own workshop of 200 m2 to carry out Cold Industrial Internships during the course. Our teachers have experience in both teaching and work.
It is a course approved by SERVEF with which you will obtain an Official Title, the Certificate of Professionalism of Level 2 “Maintenance and Assembly of Refrigeration Installations (IMAR0108)” delivered by the Ministry of Labour.
Moreover, with this certificate you will acquire:
1.- Installer licence: the condition to be able to sign up as an installation company or to work in companies that are in need of professionals with this condition.
2.- Request the Certificate of “Fluorinated Gases Handler without load limit”, necessary to buy and handle refrigerant gas.
The course starts from scratch and is aimed at professionals who need the degree, as well as those who wish to learn the job, as well as the Fluorinated Gas Handler Certificate. In the final part of the course, Internships (non-labour ones) are carried out in companies of the sector.
What are the entry requirements?
To access the Course you must have one of the following requirements: Secondary Education Certificate, have completed a Level 2 Certificate, a Level 1 Certificate from the same professional family or pass a VET Entrance Test.
